Digital Delivery is that ownership: I take the build — a replatform, a migration, an internal tool, a programme with several suppliers in it — from brief to live, hold it to what the business actually needs, and hand it back working, with your team able to run it without me.

Independent build review

Before you commit to a build — your own plan, or a supplier’s proposal — an independent read on whether it’s sound. Is the brief right, is the spec deliverable, is the price fair, where’s the risk. Senior scrutiny that stands on its own — act on it however you choose, and whoever ends up building.

You get a written assessment and a clear recommendation — proceed, renegotiate, or walk away. Advice you own, not a sales pitch and not a build.

Custom build

Where the build is bigger than a website — a migration off a platform you have outgrown, a membership or payments capability, a replatform, an integration that has to hold. Scoped against the decision it serves, then quoted, and owned end to end by one accountable person. This is an engagement rather than a product: the scope is yours, not off a ladder.

You get a delivered, working system — documented, handed over, and with your team able to run it without me.

Interim digital delivery lead

Where the build is larger still — several suppliers, a programme rather than a project — I take the delivery role, hold the suppliers to the brief, and keep the thread from your decision to the delivered result.

You get one senior owner accountable across every supplier, and the finished build delivered — not another report.

Looking after it

Care plans are delivered under Bowers Web Design.

Someone staying accountable after go-live — hosting, DNS and certificates managed, backups and monitoring, updates applied and tested, and a written annual review of accessibility, privacy and renewals that you can put in front of a board, a funder or an insurer. That is the same work whoever built the site, so it has one home and one set of published response times.

Every build is delivered to the same standard I hold programmes to when I assure them — the discipline is built in, not inspected in afterwards. And the work needn’t end at go-live: the relationship can carry on, with an independent, senior eye on the wider programme as your plans grow.

What it costs

Fixed scope, fixed fee.

Independent build review
£1,600 — a fixed fee for a defined read. Larger or multi-supplier reviews from £3,200.
Custom build
from £10,000 — migrations, memberships, payments and replatforms, scoped then quoted at the rate.
Interim delivery lead
on application, for larger multi-supplier builds.

Fixed scope and fixed fee, agreed before work starts. Scoped to the decision the build serves, never billed by the hour.
