Short, because the site does very little. It sets no cookies, there is no login, and nothing here tries to work out who you are.

What the enquiry form collects
Your name, your email address, your organisation if you give it, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else. There is no tracking pixel on the form and no profile is built from it.
Where it goes
The form posts to a small function running on Cloudflare, which passes it to Resend, an email delivery service, which delivers it to tom@bowers-advisory.co.uk. Cloudflare and Resend are processors acting on my instructions. Both operate outside the UK, so the transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum in their standard terms.
The lawful basis
Legitimate interests — you have asked me to get in touch about work, and replying to you is the obvious use of what you sent. If we go on to work together, the basis becomes performance of a contract.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twelve months. Where we do work together, the correspondence is kept for six years after the engagement ends, because that is how long the underlying business records have to be kept.
Cookies
This site sets none. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics
None. No analytics script runs on this site at present. If that changes it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics — measured without cookies and without any identifier that follows you between sites — and this notice will be updated to say so before it is switched on.
Third parties
None. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did. No maps, no video, no social widgets, no tag manager, and no analytics. Nothing on this page reaches out to anybody.
Server logs
Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs — IP address, timestamp, URL — for security and abuse prevention. I do not have access to them beyond aggregate figures and I do not use them for anything else.
Information you give me during an engagement
This notice covers the website. Personal data I handle in the course of an assurance review or a delivery engagement — interview notes, documents you share, the contents of a report — is governed by the engagement terms and the confidentiality provisions we agree before mobilisation, not by this page. Ask me for those before you send me anything sensitive.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email tom@bowers-advisory.co.uk and I will deal with it inside one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
